WINTER HAIR TRENDS

WINTER HAIR TRENDS
We chatted to Caitlyn Kirton, Stylist for Toni & Guy Brisbane to find out the latest hair trends for the season.

Curly Hair Fringes

“We’re seeing a lot of curly haired girls taking the plunge for the first time and getting the fringe they’ve always been too scared to try.”

“And…it looks nothing like the scary 80’s permed fringe!”

“Using the natural texture of our clients hair we give them a look that is super stylish and on trend whilst easy to achieve at home. I see this look saying around for a while and we love it!!”

Soft Baby Lights for Brunettes

“Usually the trend through winter is to go darker but this year we’re lightening things up – especially in Brisbane!”

“We love having a halo of baby lights throughout the front hairline. It helps make your skin glow giving you a natural sun kissed, healthy look throughout the cooler months.”

Bleached Short nearly shaved hair

“Think Cara Delevingne or Zoe Kravitz, Lenny Kravitz daughter – it’s a bold statement and sits so well with the women in power movement that we are seeing worldwide.”

“I love this look, it’s feminine, elegant and confident – it’s a big commitment but the rewards are so easy to style.”

“If you not after a massive change the easiest to stay on trend this winter is to somewhat surrender to what you were born with. With the right products, your natural hair can look so good with a tiny tweak with the irons or curlers. Gone are the days of poker straight hair.”
