Jeff’s journey began in the Netherlands, where his fascination with flowers started at a young age. Working in a family friend’s flower shop ignited a spark that would eventually lead him on a path of floral discovery and innovation.
Formalizing his passion, Jeff pursued formal floral education in Holland, where he honed his technical skills, knowledge and developed a profound understanding of colour.
A transformative period at a well respected florist in Amsterdam allowed Jeff to refine his craft amidst the vibrant urban landscape. Here, he learned to balance creativity with meticulous care, shaping his distinctive style and approach to floral design. In this period he also got an understanding of the emotional connection between individuals and flowers. This foundation laid the groundwork for Mister Botanical’s commitment to exceptional customer service and personalised experiences.
Australia’s allure captivated Jeff as a backpacker, drawing him to its shores for adventure and exploration. While initially disconnected from the floral industry, Jeff’s journey took an unexpected turn as he discovered a want for flowers during his time in Brisbane. He ended up managing multiple flower shops in Brisbane and learned everything about the local industry.
In early February, Mister Botanical proudly opened its doors in the Tattersall’s Arcade, nestled in the heart of Brisbane city. This new location serves as an inspiration of floral excellence, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a world of beauty.
