A Little Bit Of Italy

A Little Bit Of Italy

Renowned Australian stylist and jewellery designer, Christie Nicolaides, has opened her first flagship boutique on Edward Street.

Christie Nicolaïtes Boutique

Nicolaides creates bold, timeless, unique jewellery designs inspired by her artistic upbringing and love for antique and vintage jewellery. Each of Nicolaides collections are bejewelled with amethyst, rose quartz, pearls or turquoise, and finished in polished silver and gold-plated brass. Combining her passion for culture, fashion and art, Christie employs a summer-inspired, exuberant aesthetic when designing her divine range of rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and headpieces.

Nicolaides’ jewellery pieces are designed in Australia and handcrafted by skilled artisans in Asia and Europe. The colourful precious and semi-precious stones, sourced on Nicolaides’ international travels, pieced with glass, plated brass and enamel are made to be worn as a statement piece or in generous abundance.

Five years after launching her label, Nicolaides’ designs are treasured by Carrie Bickmore, Jennifer Hawkins, Kelly Rowland, Kate Richie and Samantha Harris. The Edward Street flagship store will provide a perfect showcase for Nicolaides’ unique collections, featuring special treasures made exclusively for the store. To access the boutique located on the corner of Margaret and Edward streets, follow the curved staircase to be transported to a sparkling treasure trove in the basement. The retail space boasts gorgeous new pink marble flooring, dark timber beams and exposed brick to offset the signature jewellery pieces.

The boutique will feature Nicolaides’ new Marbella cruise collection, inspired by the 1960s Spanish coastline and her new bridal collection following her 2017 nuptials.
